16 Blind Locations
The blinds, able to hold six people, are a combination of heated pit blinds and portable box blinds. All blinds are dry, heated, and comfortable. No layout blinds, no tromping through water, nor waders needed to have your guests enjoy a fabulous day of waterfowl shooting.
All the blinds are situated throughout the property on key flight lines. This allows for strategic shooting of the mallards and geese without disturbing our main waterfowl refuge.
Shooters can be picked up and dropped off within feet of the blinds for easy access for all physical abilities.
Longest Non-Split Waterfowl Season in North America
Running average of 94 days from late October through the end of January each year.
Additional Game
Several acres of pheasant habitat are included including an additional 57 irrigated acres that are in pheasant preserve status. Whitetail deer and turkey are also common species, and anglers will enjoy the opportunity to fly fish.

The Facilities
The Main Lodge
The Main Lodge at The North Platte Outpost is actually a converted famous “cattle sale barn”. Historic breeder bull auctions took place at the now North Platte Outpost Lodge in the 1980’s and early 1990’s.
Remodeled and expanded by Paul Reed Construction of Scottsbluff, NE, the current North Platte Outpost is a classic hunting Lodge with multiple living rooms, bar and simulated river room with taxidermy displays, walk in sauna, massage therapy room, five suites, four full bathrooms, kitchen and office.
Perfect for hosting and entertaining your valued clients and guests, the Main Lodge provides ample common space for both social and business events each day while not interfering with the privacy of the other homes The North Platte Outpost has to offer.

The 12 Gauge
About 100 yards from the front door of the Main Lodge at The North Platte Outpost you will find the 12 Gauge Residence.
A beautifully remodeled three bedroom suite, three full bathroom home. Currently used as the adjacent Lodge, the 12 Gauge sleeps 6 and provides guests with their own private living room, mud room for gear, kitchen and laundry facility. The residence has its own Internet and Directv service.
Guests can easily walk to the Main Lodge in about 2-3 minutes for meals and bar service.

Chuck's House
The pinnacle residence at The North Platte Outpost for the new owner is Chuck’s House. This beautiful, luxury ranch style home has south facing views of the bluffs and river valley. At over 7,000 sq feet this home is perfect for entertaining clients and family for the new owner. The new owner can make this home into their personal private Lodge. The house features five bedrooms, three full and two half baths.
Deck out the lower level of the house for your own personal billiards and trophy room, vintage gun display, bar, and spa.

Situated next to Chuck’s House, The Mallard residence is a 4,000 sq foot home with three bedrooms and two full bathrooms. A perfect place to have guests stay who are visiting the new owner next door or as overflow for the Main Lodge at The North Platte Outpost.
This home also has amazing views of the bluffs and river valley to the south.
Only 5 minutes from the Main Lodge providing easy accessibility to guests for meals and social time, all while providing complete privacy in their own residence.

Across the road from Chuck’s House and The Mallard Residence you will find the Big Honker Haven.
A perfect complement to both the other residences, Big Honker Haven boasts three bedrooms and two full bathrooms and is surrounded by beautiful, large walnut trees.
While this residence can certainly be an overflow for the Main Lodge, it makes the perfect location for family to use while visiting the new owner.

The Highland Road House
Eleven miles from the Main Lodge at The North Platte Outpost you will find the Highland Road House. Currently, this residence is home to the manager and staff who take care of the property on an annual basis.
Located just minutes from downtown Scottsbluff, NE, and the local regional airport (BFF) , this central location makes it easy for staff to get supplies and pick up guests who are flying into the Lodge.
